There’s nothing I love more than the country. Growing up in Manassa, Colorado, was the best thing ever, but now that I’m really into photography (and especially vintage photography), I’m really sad that I no longer live there. The farmland and old buildings in the valley (the San Luis Valley for those of you aren’t familiar with “THE valley”) are just incredible. If you’ve ever seen the show American Pickers on the History Channel,  I’m kind of like Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz when it comes to old buildings and vintage farms. I find beauty in the most run-down and degenerated farm buildings and equipment. There’s just something about them that speaks to my soul. Here’s a collection of photos from Manassa and the surrounding area edited in vintage black and white fashion.
