I know it’s odd to be posting about summer two days after it’s untimely demise, but I couldn’t let (excuse me while I wax poetic) the residual vestige of August’s flame waft relinquished into the autumnal gloaming without one final photographic ode to the seasonal epitome of freedom.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system…It’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything, but I certainly haven’t taken a break from photography. On the contrary, I’ve been really busy taking photos for various events (well, just two, but “various” sounds prestigious). I was one of the photographers for the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival and also served as photographer during the Law Enforcement Training Camp the company I work for holds every year. Between the two, I took more than 6,000 photos (blog posts will follow). That’s mostly why I haven’t been able to do many of my own projects. Also, with work, a baby, and my wife starting her master’s program, things have been a little busy.
So, here are some of my favorite photos from this summer. Some, I’ve posted before, but several are new or at least never before posted on my blog.
