Fall family photos at Wheeler Farm in Murray, Utah

Fall is my favorite time of the year, not only because it’s football season and all of the leaves are change, but because it’s also family photo season. And that means I get to work with great families like the Stuarts in beautiful places like Wheeler Farm.

This was my first time doing family photos at Wheeler Farm (a historic farm in Murray, Utah), and it was a blast. It was much bigger than I expected it to be and had so much variety. We found great places to take photos almost everywhere we turned. (Apparently, many other people know this judging by the half dozen other family sessions we ran into.)

There were creeks, farm paths, rustic out buildings, and a lot of lush grass despite the lateness of the season. There was also a petting zoo with sheep, goats, pigs, and chickens (none of which the baby was too fond of).

The Stuarts, who are also good friends of ours, were a ton of fun to do family photos with. Their little girl is absolutely adorable, and even though she was a little cold, she did very well taking photos. She also has the cutest toothless grin you’ve ever seen.

Wheeler Farm is now definitely on my short list for family photo locations!
