A couple of Saturdays ago, we decided to go wander Salt Lake City including Temple Square and This is the Place State Park. I had all of the photos edited by that same night, but I’ve been sitting on them because I got a little too ambitious with some composite images I attempted to do of the Salt Lake City Temple. It turns out that my computer refuses to do composites when they’re made up of 60 full res images. Even my work computer which is screaming fast totally crashed when I tried it. Oh well. I’ll post the temple photos eventually if I ever figure out a way to make them work.
Even without the temple photos, the real star of this post is the recreation of pioneer life at This is the Place State Park. I loved all of the old buildings and rustic farm scenes (even though many were modern-day models). I hope you enjoy them!
