So, I’m doing something a little different with this post. I generally only ever do blog posts when I have a semi-large collection of varied photos that fit a certain theme. I’ve never been able to bring myself to post less than 30 photos or to post photos that look too much alike. I have a lot of obsessive compulsive tendencies, and those are a few of them I guess.
Really, this is kind of like a therapy session for me.
So anyway, my parents were in town this weekend and we decided to go to the ice castles in Midway, Utah. Other than the hoards of people, it was pretty amazing. Signing the waver (in case you get impaled by a giant falling icicle) was a little disconcerting, but a giant castle made of frozen water is about as cool as it gets. The ice had this amazing blue tone to it at times and an incredibly pure white iridescence at other times. It’s inspired me to turn the sprinklers on full-blast in the front yard all winter long. My land lord would be totally ok with that, right?
Also, Carter got to try his fuzzy blue snow suit.
If you didn’t just say, “Awwwww,” then there’s the door. But seriously, he was adorable. Like a light blue ewok.
And so, without further ado, here is my short therapeutic post of mostly similar photos. I hope you enjoy it, because I’m kind of dying inside.
